Mechanical Clip Fixing Vs Glue Fixing for Sandstone Cladding

Gosford Quarries do not recommend glue fixing for sandstone cladding.

You can glue fix if the sandstone cladding is being installed internally. Generally, though, moisture becomes an issue. Regardless, some people still want to use glue fixing.

ASAA (The Australian Stone Advisory Association) recommend mechanical clips as best practice in their guidelines.
