Say hi to Peter! 👋 He’s one of our Sales Executives and a proud member of the GQ family for over 8 years – so it’s safe to say he knows a thing or two about sandstone. 💬🧱
Peter has worked on some amazing projects, but two favourite stand out:
✨ The first? A set of ornate landscaping lanterns designed from Pure White Sandstone. Cut from a single piece, they turned out beautifully – and the client was thrilled.
🛠️ The second is a stunning wine bottle sculpture for Peterson House Cellar Door in the Hunter Valley – a beautiful piece in a beautiful location.
When it comes to stone, Peter’s all about Mt White Buff Select in a Rockfaced finish – “timeless and full of character.” His favourite part of the job? Helping customers turn their vision into something real and lasting.
📝 One tip he often shares: don’t get caught up in looking at one stone at a time – step back and enjoy the natural variation across the whole wall. That’s where sandstone really shines. 🌟
